Everything you need to know about ICP ACC certification and Agile coach
Successful completion of the 21-hour course provided by an IC Agile Member Organization is required for anyone seeking the ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching(ICP-ACC) certification from the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile). This certification is one of two knowledge-based certificates on the Agile Coaching Track, and it is the only one that primarily addresses an Agile Coach’s mindset, roles, and responsibilities. To become an Agile coach, you must complete the rigorous ICP-ACC program an IC Agile Member Organization provides.
Coaching is a Competency that helps people adapt to a world where change is constant and inevitable. To support their clients in bringing about meaningful change and improvement to their businesses, agile coaches work with both individuals and teams to help them define what needs to change, pinpoint the areas where the current and ideal states of affairs diverge, and then take the necessary steps to close the gap. Coaches always keep the end goal in mind, even when their clients have lost sight of it.
Instead of conforming to the status quo, agile coaches encourage their clients to embrace change through a variety of means.
