What you'll learn

The Six ICF AI domains

Each domain maps to live labs and ends with a tangible deliverable you keep. Every objective is something you'll be able to do.

A
Sessions 1–2

Foundation: AI Ethics & Coaching Mindset

  • Apply the seven AI-ethics elements (A.1.1–A.1.7) to real tools and name violations precisely.
  • Judge whether a system embodies a genuine coaching mindset (A.2) versus a rigid, scripted protocol.
  • Recognise the sources of AI bias — sampling, design, optimisation — and the client-protection duty they create.
You'll build: AI Stance Statement + Ethics Card
B
Sessions 3–4

Co-Creating the Relationship

  • Design a B.3-compliant agreement: service & benefits, explicit opt-in, and assent for each new use case.
  • Assess Trust & Safety (B.4): transparency, inclusive dialogue, human-coach access, mental-health indicators.
  • Evaluate Presence (B.5): avoiding the "uncanny valley," clear AI representation, and lawful emotion assessment.
 You'll build: Agreement Template + T&S Checklist
C
Session 5

Communicating Effectively

  • Evaluate Active Listening (C.6): responsive interaction, explanatory questioning, and timely feedback.
  • Evaluate Evoking Awareness (C.7): diverse questioning, strategic metaphor and silence, directive balance.
  • Spot where even compliant conversational AI falls short of C.7 Advanced — and design prompts to close the gap.
 You'll build: Questioning Repertoire Map
D
Sessions 6–7

Cultivating Learning & Growth

  • Map a client journey across the seven D.8 waypoints — and mark where the human coach must step in.
  • Evaluate D.9 reinforcement: growth tracking, commitment nudges, insight-to-action, and progress recognition.
  • Design a goal-facilitation flow that keeps client autonomy central while AI handles the routine.
You'll build: Goal Facilitation Protocol
E
Session 7

Assurance & Testing

  • Apply E.10 reliability measures: feedback collection, capability validation, bias monitoring, expert design review.
  • Apply E.11 usability: accessible design, plain-language disclosure, language-expert review, non-discriminatory content.
  • Turn all of it into a repeatable 19-criteria scoring rubric for any AI coaching system.
 You'll build: 19-Criteria Evaluation Rubric
F
Session 8

Technical Factors: Security & Accessibility

  • Apply F.12 security through the CIA triad — encryption, secure sign-on, availability — and map GDPR-style data rights.
  • Apply F.13 resilience & accessibility: data disclosure up front, processing consent, and access for disabled users.
  • Integrate everything into a personal pledge and a practice-wide AI integration map.
You'll build: Responsible AI Practice Pledge

Choose your track

The distinction is professional, not hierarchical — every learner works from the same standards, applied to their level of practice.

ACC Track

Apply it to your own practice

For coaches embedding AI responsibly into their own client work.

  • Choose and use compliant AI tools with clients
  • Build agreements, checklists and questioning maps you'll actually use
  • Set clear boundaries between AI support and your human coaching
PCC Track

Advise, supervise & assure quality

For senior coaches guiding others and advising organisations on AI-coaching deployment.

  • Supervise coaches integrating AI into their practice
  • Run quality assurance and expert design review on AI systems
  • Advise organisations on responsible AI-coaching procurement
